Reiki is an energy healing technique that helps all beings and situations with relaxation. It’s direct translation from Japanese is Divinely Guided Life-force Energy. A Reiki practitioner meditates, communes with the Divine, and becomes a channel for unconditional love energy. The focus of the practitioner directs the energy. Reiki is also known as “laying on of hands,” or “therapeutic touch,” although physical contact is not necessary for the successful transfer of energy.
Reiki has many uses and is included as complementary therapy to traditional medicine and veterinary care. It is being used in over 60 hospitals, many hospice centers, animal shelters, clinics, churches, massage therapy spas, and countless private homes.
